I found out the other day that the company who makes Splenda got in huge trouble for marketing Splenda with the slogan “Tastes like sugar, because it’s made from sugar!”.  It only has 5% or less sugar… but that slogan stuck.  The rest is chemicals.  I still remember it to this day and I know my mother buys it because she thinks it’s healtheir.
